for women…

We all come into this world, looking different. We have different face shapes, appearance and types of figures. Although you cannot change some things about your appearance, you can change the hair. The right hairstyle can do wonders for your appearance. Wigs help a lot when you want to experiences different hairstyles without making big commitments with your natural hair. Today, we will talk about what type of hairstyles can really flatter you.

There are generally six different face shapes for women, each with specific features determined by the proportions of your forehead, cheekbone, jawline and chin.

Wig Styles for Oval Face

Someone with an oval face shape usually has a forehead that is slightly wider than the chin with the length of the face being about 1.5 times the width. One celebrity with an oval shaped face is Jessica Alba. People with an oval face shape can wear virtually wigs with any style. Don’t be afraid to try out your many options.

Wig Styles for Round Face

If you have a round face shape, your face length and width are about equal. Typically, round faces have really soft features, so you have no angles to your jaw, which is also rounded. Selena Gomez has a round face shape. Round faces usually have wide hairlines and plump cheeks. To counteract the feeling of fullness, choose hairstyles that elongate the face. You can choose wigs with hairstyles that are very layered and are shoulder length or longer. Layers will add structure and texture to a beautifully smooth jawline. Avoid choosing bobs or ones with inward-facing layers.

Wig Styles for Heart Shaped Face

People with heart shaped faces have a narrow chin and a wide forehead. Jennifer Aniston is a great example of someone with a heart shaped face. Disguise the width of the forehead by increasing volume at the chin and bring some hair onto the forehead. The ideal way to cut is to plump the front of your earlobe and around your chin. Try to keep hair close to your head at the eyes. The most flattering style for a heart shaped face is a pageboy as well as wigs with subtle layers. Avoid short hair and choppy layers.

Wig Styles for Square Shaped Face

If you have a square face shape, you have a squared jaw, and minimal curves to your face. Your forehead, cheekbones and chin are about the same width. Some squares have faces that are as wide as they are long, while others are longer and more rectangular in shape. Olivia Wilde has a square faced shape. When choosing a wig, you should choose those that can add height to the top and narrowness at the ears creating an illusion of facial length. Curly wigs around your face can make your face look smoother and help ease the squareness of your face.

Wig Styles for Diamond Shaped Face

One of the most uncommon of all face shapes is diamond. Diamond face shapes have strong cheekbones that make the forehead and chin appear narrower. Scarlett Johansson is a great example of this face shape. Diamond face shapes need to balance a narrow chin, minimize wider cheek bones and shorten the overall length. Bobs with lots of layers look great for the shape.

Wig Styles for Oblong Face Shape

If you have an oblong face shape, your forehead, cheeks, and jawline are approximately the same width and your chin has a very slight curve. Sarah Jessica Parker has the quintessential oblong face. Curls and waves will never fail you if you have an oblong face. They add to the overall width of the face and, thus, help tone down the appearance of its length. Also, bangs are going to be your best friend. Some straight cut or side swept bangs that cover your forehead and graze your eyebrows will work wonders in reducing the length of your face.

Keep in mind that these are all just suggestions, feel free to wear any style that makes you feel beautiful.
